What is Self-Study Continuing Education (CE)?

Many industries require certain profession to take continuing education courses in order to keep licenses active. Self-study Continuing Education courses are continuing education courses that are completed either online or by paper. Since no specific classroom time is required some industries require you to pass an exam to assure that sufficient training time was spent and proficiency was attained.

What types of courses does Northeast CE Educators, LLC offer?

Northeast CE Educators currently offers continuing education courses for the Surety Bail Bond line of insurance. Courses for Property and Casualty, Life and Health and Cosmetology for certain states are being developed and will be coming soon to our website.

Is Northeast CE Educators, LLC an approved provider by your licensing state?

Yes. Northeast CE Educators, LLC is an approved provider by state authorities governing the licenses for all of the courses that we offer.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION & SIGN IN

How do I set up a User ID and a Password?

Once you are ready to take your test and have paid the appropriate fees, click the “Take the Exam” link that is provided to you. This will take you to a sign-in page. Click “Start a new test” and enter your desired email address and password. Note that your email address will act as your user ID.

How do I access my existing Northeast CE Educators, LLC account?

Access the sign-in page by clicking the "Take the Exam" link that was provided to you. You will be able to see your course history.

I forgot my User ID and password, how can I retrieve it?

If you have attempted to use a User ID and password that is not matching the information we have in our system, please follow the online retrieval instructions. If the retrieval process does not work, contact our customer service department by emailing us via the “contact us ” link or call us at (216) 798-5024.

PRIVACY & PERSONAL PROFILE INFORMATION

Does Northeast CE Educators, LLC retain my personal information?

For the purposes of creating certificates of completion and reporting your CE credits Northeast CE Educators, LLC must have your full name, address, daytime phone number, and license number. A credit card will be required to process your order online however, credit card information will not be stored and the card information is entered on a secure and encrypted page. How long does Northeast CE Educators, LLC keep my account information?

Northeast CE Educators, LLC will store your entire course history for a minimum of five years.

How is my personal information used?

Northeast CE Educators, LLC only collects the information that is required to report hours to the state or for your certificates of completion.

Is my personal information secure?

Yes. Northeast CE Educators, LLC has taken precautions to ensure that our systems are secure and that they meet industry standards, including the application of firewalls for our Internet-based systems.

Is the Northeast CE Educators, LLC site secure?

Yes. Any time you send or receive personal or credit card information to Northeast CE Educators, LLC, you will see a lock at the bottom of your browser indicating you are viewing a secure page and the data flowing to or from Northeast CE Educators, LLC will be encrypted. Download the study booklet (in PDF form) and review materials
Choose ‘Take the Exam’ for your course of choice
Once you pass the test, you will be prompted to enter information for your Certificate
A Certificate of Completion will be generated
Please repeat this process to take additional online continuing education courses for your license(s)

What are my payment options?

You may pay for your course selections by credit card or check. Northeast CE Educators, LLC accepts credit card payments via Pay Pal. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Checks can be submitted by mail to: Northeast CE Educators, LLC, PO Box 14463, Cleveland Ohio 44114-0463.

Will I receive a receipt for my purchase?

For online purchases, once you order a course via the ‘Pay Pal’ system a receipt will be issued which can be printed. If you order a course by mail a receipt will be sent to you via standard mail and or email.

What is Northeast CE Educator’s, LLC refund policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with your order call contact Northeast CE Educators, LLC's Customer Service Department (216) 798-5024. Northeast CE Educators, LLC will refund all fees paid within 30 days of cancellation. (Please provide a notice of cancellation within 10 days of course receipt)

What course delivery options are available?

Northeast CE Educators, LLC courses are available in both online and hard copy paper formats.

What are State Filing Fees?

State Filing Fees/Roster Fees are additional charges required by some states to process continuing education credits. Northeast CE Educators, LLC is required by certain states to collect the filing fees from you. If applicable, you will see these fees added to your total invoice amount.

What is a passing score?

Courses taken for CE credit must be completed with a passing score of 70% or higher.

What happens if I do not pass my exam?

For courses that require an exam, if you do not pass an online exam, the system will give you the opportunity to retest online. If you do not pass a paper exam, Northeast CE Educators, LLC will contact you and give you the option to retest. Northeast CE Educators, LLC offers unlimited retakes, and there is no charge for additional test attempts.

How long does it take to grade exams?

Not all online courses require exams but for those that do the exams are graded immediately. Self Study course exams are graded and the results emailed to you within 48 business hours of receipt.

How do I get access to my online exam?

Online study materials are always available on the Northeast CE Educators, LLC web site. To access the exam for your desired course, click the ‘Take the Exam’ link on the appropriate course page. Set up a new user ID and password or enter login information to access a previously attempted test.

Once I begin an exam can I leave the exam and come back later?

Online exams can be paused at any time and will be available upon logging back in to your account.

How long does it take to get certificates of completion?

Certificates of completion are immediately available online for printing. If you complete a self study exam, Northeast CE Educators, LLC will mail your certificate within 5-7 business days.

Do my courses expire?

You have 12 months from the date of purchase to complete your courses for credit. Courses will expire after that time. Your expiration date will be listed in your online account or within the documentation that accompanies your paper-based material.

Does Northeast CE Educators, LLC report my course completion results?

Northeast CE Educators, LLC reports course completions within 48 business hours of course completion.
